TMHA EXHIBIT AT 2023 DIESEL, DIRT & TURF EXPO IN SYDNEY

POSTED: 24/04/23
Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) has exhibited a full range of material handling equipment at the 2023 National Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo at the Sydney Dragway in Eastern Creek.

Having taken place over the 21st - 23rd April, the National Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo is Australia's largest construction industry expo, which is reflected by the broad range of products to be exhibited by TMHA.

TMHA's stand featured a range of equipment, from Toyota forklifts, to skid steers, mini excavators, scissor lifts, sweepers and scrubbers, burden carriers and a tow tug, demonstrating the vast range of applications of TMHA equipment and its allied partners.

However, there was even more to see with a fully specified TMHA service van and recruitment desk also present for the event, as explained by TMHA Product Manager - Construction Equipment Matt Meddows.

"We took out one of our service vans, which are fully decked out in the TMHA national specification," Mr Meddows said. "It's a brand-new van with all the required tooling and racking in it supplied by Toyota.

"And then had someone manning the HR tent for recruitment across the weekend, whether that is for mechanics or people of interest asking for other roles in the company."

TMHA is currently recruiting mechanics to join the team, and any trade qualified mechanics with experience were encouraged to stop by the TMHA stand.

Among the equipment on show was six different HUSKI mini excavators ranging from 1.3-tonne to 5.5-tonne capacity, offering a range of valuable features as standard.

Those include standard quick hitch piping, while the majority of the range also offers secondary auxiliary hydraulics as standard, allowing for the easy fitment of a tilt hitch.

Another standard feature on 2.8-6t HUSKI excavators is the blade float, which keeps the dozer blade at the front of the vehicle flush with the ground even when navigating over bumps and dips.

All hydraulic controls on the mini excavator range are controlled by hand switches, making them more ergonomic than competitors who use foot switches.

TMHA's range of sweepers and scrubbers suitable for both warehouse and construction purposes were also on show, ranging from push-behind units to full-size diesel ride-on machines.

For any potential customers considering a purchase, TMHA had on-site a 40-foot, dual-storey private container with air-conditioning and seats perfect for further discussion in a quiet environment.

Along with a tow tug and burden carriers, TMHA's signature Toyota forklifts - available in petrol, diesel and battery-electric specification - were also on show, along with HUSKI's popular range of skid steers.
